Axis Nightclub

The music and dancers were great. Great set up. The bouncers or I suppose they were security were too aggressive. I don't know if it was because me and my friends were black or gay women and not men. The bouncer literally bull dozed past me and my friends nearly knocking me down. It was totally unnecessary for him to do that. There was no emergency or anything taking place. Also it was terribly hot in there.

I visited this place for 9 years of my life and on May 5 I was a victim of aggression, through no fault of my own since I was only going to enjoy myself as I had done during my 9 years, but the most disappointing thing of all is that I tried to obtain the evidence to be able to continue with the lawsuit from my aggressors and they never wanted to provide it, I sent an email to the manager, etc., it is sad to be insecure and that your life is in danger, since I did not receive any support from the police, I did not receive them. I care about my case, belonging to the LGTGQ+ community. They wanted to re-enter Axis again but we told the police that they were the aggressors and they did not stop them, they just took them out of the place. These criminals are free and you can be other victims. I do not recommend visiting this place, do not expose your life.

edit November 13th: Still no refund or response from Axis aside from 1 message snarkily stating, "it was the weekend so ofc we werent in office, we werent trying to steal!" The cancelation happened on a Friday morning and also now it has been over 3 weeks. I hope Bosco doesn't ever work with them again. After advertising an event with a Rupaul girl, the queen had to cancel. Nothing against the queen, but Axis posted she wasnt going to be there the day of and how to get refunds (but had removed comments on the post. Red flag number 1). Then barely 10 hrs later they promptly removed the Instagram post saying she wasnt going to be there as well as the ways to get refunded (while also limiting their comments. red flag number 2). Super suspicious. How many others got meet and greets just to never get their refunds? We also never got our "price adjustments." We didnt even end up going. I cant believe a gay club is stealing from their own kind. We emailed their contact info 3x days ago multiple times and no reply. Red flag number 3, never going to this fraud of a club again

It's fun, but every square inch of the floor is always either flooded with drinks or just barely dried up into a sticky mess. I don't understand how so many fumbling people can dance on a wet floor.

This place has gone to ish… like if you want a gay club… go elsewhere. This bar looks like what happens when a republican takes over a gay bar. And it’s exactly what happened… and it shows. Axis used to be an actual gay bar. Go to AWOL, or just go to a gay bar. This place is basically a confused gayish, straight, campus, park street club at this point.

My wife bought me and friends a table to see Bosco for their Halloween event. We also got an extra meet and greet. Bosco canceled, all they did was post on Instagram she canceled and limited their comments. They said to email them for a refund. They have not gotten back to us. 170 dollars STOLEN from us. Emailed their 2 emails and sent a message on Instagram. THIEVES!

Freezing, floor was disgustingly sticky, and the club was one of the loudest I’ve ever been in (not a good thing). I went back to my hotel to get my earplugs. The performances were pretty good, and the crowd was lively. Patio was much nicer tbh.

they decided to close early on saturday night without any warning (they close at 2:30 and everyone was kicked out by 2:05, no announcement or anything), out on the patio, they locked all of the doors BEFORE telling us they were “closed” and we had to leave, leaving at least 30 of us with open tabs and an 80% gratuity” charge!? after some pushback and asking to be escorted inside so we could pay our tabs (at this point it was still not 2:30), security told us to leave or they would call the police. genuinely will never, ever come back.
