Alpine Tavern at The Wentworth

This is a cozy spot for a drink, snack or meal after a day on the mountain or exploring the area. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. We came twice on a recent stay one time for a meal and again for drinks. The cocktails are tasty and well balanced with good flavor profiles. The fondue for two is an authentic Swiss-style fondue with the perfect cheese to bread ratio, it could only be more perfect with a shot of kirsch. The service by Charlie and Leon was well paced and relaxed, a nice change from so many restaurants that push tables through their meals. I recommend stopping in and enjoying the time and space, I’m looking forward to returning on a future visit.

Great visit! Came twice during our stay, once for dinner and once for cocktails. Charlie helped us the first evening and perfectly balanced attentiveness and space to make for a great dinner experience. Leon assisted us the second evening and quickly served us with great energy before our dinner reservations. The food and drinks were excellent both evenings. Highly recommend!

Dylan and Charlie were absolutely amazing in the Alpine Lounge. They both hustled for a very busy crowd and didn’t skip a beat!! We were visiting for The Weekend watching the play off games and loved our time in the local bed. Great staff!! Love it!! The Dommels

CHARLIE and LEON are THE ABSOLUTE BEST ! The service is incredible and the drinks are amazing and this is coming from a girl that’s lived her whole life in the city. Very classic and elegant, love the upscale feel.

We had an excellent dinner at Alpine! We sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple custom moctails from Dylan. Our dinner came out perfectly timed and was absolutely delicious. The service was a A+. Dylan checked on us at all the right times and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. We absolutely love the renovations here. It’s absolutely one of top get-away-spots! Can’t wait to come back!

Fondue and drinks were delicious! We got here right as it opened on a Sunday night during school vacation week and had no issue grabbing a table by the bar. Beautiful ambiance. Bartenders Charlie and Dylan were attentive and provided helpful recommendations!

The Wentworth and the Alpine were tremendous. It’s a great hotel with a real “classic resort” feel. The staff is helpful and available to assist you with any requests. The food and service are wonderful. Specifically, Jean and Ron in the restaurant and Dillon in the Alpine made our stay remarkable! Thank you so much!
