Went to Boats after the Medora Musical. It's a busy place where you have to wait and seat yourself. A waitress finally pointed us to a table by the games. Once seated, our server took very good care of us. We started out with drinks, tall, double, Markers Mark and coke, which were nice and strong. For appetizers, we ordered the Bison Meatballs in a marinara sauce. They were very tasty. For entrees, I ordered the Dakota Walleye, which came with asparagus and risotto. Hubby ordered the Braised Lamb Shank, which came with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. For dessert, we shared the Bourbon Caramel Apple Crisp, which came with ice cream. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Well done, Boots!

We found everything to be extremely good except the pizza. I think it’s pre frozen crust with toppings. You have to walk in and just find a seat which can be frustrating/hard. You won’t see your waiter too much after food comes out but it comes out very fast.

Had a hard time deciding what to order, but ultimately went with the jurassic mac and cheese appetizer. We sat at this really cool tree stump table! Will update after the food comes out but first impression, this place is really cool. Update: Food was eh, but also this is mainly a bar with an attached grill so that was to be expected. However, their fries are SO GOOD (should have guessed that lol from their reviews) i stole a bunch from my siblings. 7/10 overall

The food was good enough. The steak came out well done when it was ordered medium-rare. They came out shortly with a new one. They actually make good French fries. The burger was good. And the egg rolls were great.

Every time I pass through, I stop at this joint one of my favorite places to go in the country, small town USA that’s what it’s about and that’s what you get when you come to boots Thank you, Ashley for the conversation. Look forward to coming back again soon until then I highly recommend the fillet!!!

Our pizza came out very quickly after ordering, it was quite greasy but tasty. Food was more expensive than we expected but I guess that’s to be expected for a touristy area. Service was good. Plenty of parking.

We planned a vacation and were really looking forward to eating at Boots. It was listed as handicap accessible and online pictures showed a handicap spot next to a ground/level door. However, when we arrived, the handicap parking spot was no longer there and the door did not appear to be an entrance for patrons. We were so disappointed. Actually, it was difficult to find anything handicap-accessible at all in Medora.

Food was fabulous. Good draft beer selection. Our waitress was helpful and timely. Definitely enjoyed my visit here and I'd come back for sure. Great menu options! Only negative was they turned the fans on inside and it was already cold outside. It was freezing! Luckily we had already finished eating but we quickly wanted to leave after that
