I've never had a massage before. I made an appointment with Allen; very good massage overall. He tells you what he will be doing and makes you feel comfortable and safe the entire time. I felt so much better after. I have another appointment already scheduled!

Not a good impression. We won't be returning. If you decide on this place, hopefully your experience will be better but if they decide to stagger your massages times, I'd be very cautious. My wife and I were both scheduled at 5 with our own masseuse, then our daughter at 6 with my wife's masseuse. We got a call shortly before 5 from Alan (company owner?) telling us that they both will be late. Mine was now going to be 5:15 and my wife's 5:30. No huge deal, we had nothing pressing. I think they took advantage of our flexibility though. So 5:15 comes and I go to the room with my masseuse and have a massage and it's great. I come out of the room an hour later and am confused to see my wife still sitting in the lobby, since hers was 15 minutes later, I expected to have to wait on her. Apparently, her masseuse didn't show up and NOT A SINGLE PERSON came to the lobby to inform her of this the entire time. She just sat there for an hour wishing someone would come into the lobby so she can ask what's going on. So her and our daughter both were stood up. I would not even have taken the massage had I known my poor wife was just sitting there massage-less the whole time. The immediate serenity and relaxation I felt was immediately replaced with negative emotions. A waste. Not to mention, Alan told me it would be $60 for first time customers but the masseuse charged me "75 to 90". I paid her 90 just because I don't believe any of this was her fault.

I am leaving one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had! I am bad with names (forgive me) but I had the female owner. She was absolutely wonderful! The inside of the building is beautiful and relaxing. The pictures don't do it justice. I found them on Groupon. I will be returning. They also do acupuncture and facials.

All future clients who are hesitant or need extra information. Coming to emanate was my first step in understanding that self care is so important. I did something tonight that I’ve never done before… I had my first professional massage! When I tell you that this experience was beyond amazing, beyond what I thought. I have always been so scared thinking a massage would be awkward or that I’d be too tense. Allen at Emanate Balance made me feel so comfortable during the whole process and I walked out of that place feeling like an actual human being. I am so grateful to his services, education and experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. the only thing I’d change is well… not waiting 30 years to have my first massage! I will definitely be making this a monthly thing! … self care is so much more important than I ever knew. Thank you Allen! Look at me feeling like a human again!

Owners are great overall in their approach with customer service but I feel that they do not properly vet the other associates that subcontract therapy sessions through them. I have tried to get in touch with the owner(s), but I think because they are really busy, I just haven’t received a call back as of yet, so as to try to relay this information in person or on the phone. Jessica and her husband themselves though, so great work, but I feel as if I paid for a 90 minute music therapy session as I didn’t get any deep muscle therapy from my masseuse I was serviced by several weeks ago. This is late, but like them, i to have been swamped with work…I hope to get with the owners again going forward maybe for a massage with them, but time will tell…

Went in expecting great things due to the reviews on Groupon. The woman was extremely nice however my massage wasn’t great at all. I asked for firm pressure and instead had a massage with her just leaning her elbows into my body. There was maybe 10 mins of actual rubbing during my massage and that may be an overstatement. Still as stiff as I was when I went in. I’ve had better experiences at other locations, massage envy on Franklin in particular leaves your feeling amazing when you’re done and offer you infused fresh water as well. 2 stars only because of how nice she was, 0 stars on the massage itself unfortunately.
