Best massage I’ve ever had, hands down. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I’ve been going here about a year and John has helped me immensely on my body’s recovery journey. They are very knowledgeable about so many aspects of the body and it’s inner workings. Truly a healing experience by gifted professionals.

John and Kerri raise the bar for the massage therapy industry. They provide healing massage for those that are open and willing to receive their gifts. The therapists provide excellent massages, but they are different from each other. John seems to have a more scientific approach, and delivers his work with care and ease. Kerri has a more intuitive approach. She listens to what I say, but also to what my body is saying, and provides what I need without me having to really describe it. Both therapists do not talk much/at all during the session. you can really relax, meditate, etc. I am grateful to have both of them as therapists I can rely on.

This review is long overdue but I felt compelled to write it because of how good of a massage therapist John is. I travel frequently and have a bad habit of exercising harder than my body is happy with. This is where John excels - he's an amazing listener, and knows how to work with your body to get to the root issue and work through it so that you're always working right at the line of "hurts so good". I always left feeling refreshed, restored and endlessly more flexible than when I came in. I recently moved away from Durham, and John helped me to find a new massage therapist to help continue my treatment. How amazing is that? It really just goes to show how he really cares about his patients and is driven to help. If I'm ever back in Durham, it would be a high priority to try to sneak in another massage with John!

I highly recommend the Tranquility Company! I had been I a lot of pain due to stress and tension and Kerri got me in for an appointment right away. After seeing her for a massage, my body felt rejuvenated and my pain went away. I will definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for high quality service.

I called the place to come with my husband. I asked to make an appointment for the next day, they said there were no appointments and you had to book at least two weeks in advance! I went somewhere else, I both paid cheaper and had more fun
