We are so glad this place has reopened. The first Thursday night of every month is “HouseBoi”, a queer house music night for humans and their friends. Body positive and consent oriented. Radical self expression encouraged, and a drag show full of local talent at midnight.

I frequented Manray back between 2001-2005 between the ages of 19-23. I was devastated when they closed, because this club had incredible energy and the theme nights were so fun too. I’ll never forget the time I ran into Marilyn Manson in the bathroom because Dita Von Teese was performing her burlesque show that night (they were together at the time). There was also the time the coat check guy alerted me that Amber would be performing that evening (I was clueless) but thrilled to be able to see her perform her classic hits at a time when her music was still on regular rotation. Fast forward to today. I was absolutely thrilled to hear that Manray was opening back up in a new location. I couldn’t believe when I walked in the door and saw the same DJ (Chris Ewen) from many moons ago spinning his tunes. A lot of the bar staff are the same too. Lindsey is my favorite though because she memorizes my drink and gives it to me before I even ask . It was as though I was teleported back to the early 2000’s. I cannot say enough about the present day staff too. The door guy Ronin is the nicest bouncer I’ve ever met. He is pleasant and welcoming and individually greets each person with a smile and provides well wishes for a lovely evening. He makes every person that attends feel VIP. The TVs are always playing some sort of bat shit crazy video, but that’s just part of the fun. The crowds and people in attendance are always so chill, fun, and carefree. Every time I go I meet someone new! I can’t recommend this place enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went to see Oscar Mulero play here on a Thursday a week back. Awesome set. Great to see him again. Saw him back in Chicago few years back. He’s dope. Good techno.

Brought a group of friends for Dark Disco and had the *best* time. None of us had been before and we cannot WAIT to go back! We all agreed that we have never felt more comfortable and relaxed in a club setting. It is safe, inclusive and freeing to dance at manray : ) Excellent DJ and very much appreciate the water cooler and the chill room down the stairs. Couldn’t recommend more

Getting older doesn’t mean to stop dancing and since Boston’s night scene is very young targeting the college students, what happens to us?, I don’t want to feel like the old guy dancing alone… Well, so thrilled this Hot spot has reopened its doors after 20+ years, it suddenly aroused like a Phoenix, my friend Rene told me about its reopening and here I am, dancing to myself and the ones that like creating a world which is wholesome, it does not discriminate gender or social status but reinforces safety, a great ambiance and the owner Cheryl is always making sure this place is for all. Thank you my lady and staff for keeping this tradition alive. When I dance I am timeless and in the now. Namaste

One of the few consistently LGBTQ clubs in the area. Also has regular Goth/Industrial and Alt nights. Definitely pay attention to the website/IG to figure out which night you're going to. Dress code and etiquette will vary depending on the event. Venue is beautiful, fun stage, great sound system, nice lighting and a cool lower bar for a quieter space. Cover is somewhere between $12-$15 on a weekend. Drinks are reasonable, a high noon or truly is $8, etc.. Staff is very friendly. Gender neutral bathrooms.

I have found my place. I don’t do nightclub settings, and this was far from that typical nightclub scene. The people and the staff were completely welcoming. The music was good, drinks were yummy and I’ve never danced so hard in my life.
