The place was awesome. The service was great. If you stop in Hill City. Mikkelson's is a great choice for a bite to eat or a couple of drinks.

Nice little dig in small town Kansas! The food was really good, and the staff and what seemed to be the owner all seemed nice and down to earth. Fair beer selection. Pool table and arcade games ro boot. Will probably return while in the area

From out of town. Our order came out wrong. When the waitress read back our order, I questioned it. The cook came out of the kitchen to tell us that it was our fault the order was wrong. Then proceeded to charge us an additional charge. What do you want to bet that the waitress wasn't taught how to use the little machine to take orders? She said that the items they marked for the items what she was removing from our order.... Except that it was the only thing that I received. We won't be back. Mostly because of the cook. Totally RUDE.

Excellent burgers! Stopped on the way through with 3 generations of family on a Sunday. Quick competent service with excellent food... burgers, fries, onion rings. It's a bar setting.
