A gem of a place. It feels really low-key and has a cozy dive-bar type feel to it. Prices are standard and they have deals and happy hours and specialty nights and all the standard stuff like that. Great pool tables that are free until 6pm which is honestly amazing. Both bartenders I've met were super friendly and social, had a great time every time I've been there. And everyone has been really nice, even the patrons. While that isn't super rare in and of itself, no one cares that I'm trans, it's never even been a talking point which is -really- nice, honestly. Definitely highly recommended.

A lively neighborhood joint perfect for catching a game, playing pool, or just hanging out with friends. The service is friendly, the beer selection is solid, and the atmosphere is always fun.

Honestly one of my favorite bars to go to. Haven’t ate much of the food so I can’t give a review on that. But the bartenders have always been nice. Especially Danny and roman. We’ve all become friends and look forward to seeing them when we go in.

One of the best dive bars i have been to. Dani (sp) was awesome AF! I really enjoyed the feel of the place. People seem to be nice and the drinks were GOOD drinks. I will be back for sure

If there was a home away from home, this is a cozy reprieve. For me, the staff is outstanding and personable. Dani and Jennie are the pieces that complete a puzzle.

Good atmosphere good bartenders good place to relax at the end off a long day

Caveat that this is a "dive bar," and I'm a big fan of dive bars. This is not a polished chain-type bar. Review is as of December 2023. The Night Owl is much improved since new ownership took over in the 2022-2023 time frame. Food is provided via a food truck and is typical deep-fried bar food with a few twists. I thought it was fine but unremarkable, so I eat before I arrive, and only use the food truck in rare moments. There are 5 pool tables in moderate condition at $1 per play, although many nights, the tables are "free to play." It's usually easy to get on a table here when other local bars are too busy. The cues are pretty rough, so I'd bring your own cue if you care about that. AMI jukebox has plenty of 1 credit play options. Drinks are reasonably priced. Huge outdoor deck is great for getting fresh air, aka cigarette smoke. Crowd is primarily regulars, and I've gotten along well with all of them, including the interesting characters one finds at dive bars. Karaoke is currently Wednesday and Saturday nights, but I typically go Wednesday if I'm going to, because Saturday is more crowded and more loud. Staff service is excellent on Weds - Sat, but I've seen some disgruntled staff behavior on Sun - Tues nights. The main bartender on those nights likes to keep things pretty quiet, so if boisterous fun is the goal, I now avoid those evenings. Of course, staff can change over time, so this may be soon outdated advice. Bathrooms are tolerable, but hopefully, the owner continues to incrementally upgrade them. They are already better than under the prior owner. Plenty of parking, but the lot is a bit rough and uneven, so keep that in mind if you have mobility challenges.
