1. Server didn’t subtract $220 deposit from our bill, so I was charged an extra $220; scam (attempted to contact Vesper for a week by text, call and email with no response) 2. We didn't receive an itemized receipt for items charged, fees, gratuity, tax, deposit redeemed, etc. (the receipt that confirms 20% gratuity is included in the bill and deposit was subtracted; This is a tactic servers often use to get tipped twice 3. The establishment still appeared closed past 12:30pm although the event starts at 12pm (chairs upside down on bars, curtain in front of host stand closed, staff neglectful, no one greeted or offered to help until we walked behind the curtain) 4. Your party can’t be seated or start the mimosa package until your entire party has arrived even though you’re charged a $50 min for each person in your party regardless; tactic to slow down liquor flow and make extra money 5. 10+ mins after being seated, still no server approached our table. We had to notify the host stand and request a server 6. We kept running out of champagne and having to hunt down the server. We were brought 1 bottle at a time for 11 people and had to request 2 at a time. (Tactic to slow down liquor). The guy working picked up our server’s slack and started getting us bottles quicker and clearing the table. 7. Our eggs came out after we already finished eating brunch, not with the rest of our food. 8. The unlimited mimosa package is worth it and the party is fun but the customer service wasn’t good. 9. We were told our reservation would be cancelled with no deposit refund if the entire party didn’t arrive by 1pm even though you’re charged a $50 min for each person in your party regardless

These place is trash, for what they charge for, first of all they open late, because the had some kind of water pipe burst, than we had a party of 22, they try to put us at a table that hold 8-10 people, water was on the floor, than we went upstairs and it was enough room for us, but we order the mimosas package they didn’t have enough flutes, the food was served on 2 extra plates and only served 10 people, 2loaf of bread 1/2 toast and 1/2 French toast, bacon, eggs and potatoes. Other people who planned a party did not have a seat for their party, that place was like sardines in a can, I would never ever go there again. Overall we made do for my gf birthday because we came to far to turn back. It’s plenty places in center city to celebrate birthday and etc. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE, ITS TRASH

My friends scheduled brunch for my birthday this coming Saturday the 13th as a surprise, but it was ruined bc Vesper cancelled the reservation without a call or refund on the 9th. It was booked june 28th. We’ve been trying to call them for several days & DMing them on Instagram but no one will respond to either explain the cancellation or return the money already paid. We went here for a friends birthday several years ago and loved it, we wanted to go again but clearly Vesper is not attentive to business or interested in returning customers. Be careful with your reservations.

I would go again for the vibe but there was a bug crawling in my food. The manager said he’d get us a round of shots but that doesn’t make up for it being a bug in my food. The service was ok. The waitress didn’t really check up on us on a needed basis. The tables are very small. Kind of gives a hurry up and eat type vibe.

After moving to PA a few days ago, my girlfriend and I are on a quest to find the best brunch spots in Philly and surrounding areas, and this was our first spot. We appreciate that this place does brunch both on Saturday and Sunday, we don’t see that a lot where we’re friends. We were pretty surprised at the price of endless mimosas, $25 for just drinks. Where we’re from endless mimosas are usually between $12-16, for $25 we could get an endless breakfast brunch. The food was ok. I got the chicken and waffles which I was a bit disappointed in. The chicken was more like adult chicken tenders and not fried chicken wings. The breading they had was very interesting but I hate it nonetheless. I would’ve appreciated some actual wings or something like that. The atmosphere was pretty fun, we got there at 12:30 and were the only ppl there. Next time we will make a reservation so we can come later once it starts getting full. The music was decent but definitely started picking up once we were ready to go around 4pm. All in all it was a cool experience for our first Philly brunch. Not sure if we would do it again on our own, maybe when we have friends in town.

Went for brunch on a Sunday. Definitely more of club than brunch, but had a great time! Could not stop dancing, a definite must go if you like parting.

This place is a complete SCAM! They are taking deposits and canceling reservations. (and also lying saying their place is shutdown because of leaks and floods) Then they block you on open table and won’t answer your call. After 3 weeks, we have not received a refund.

I can only speak to the customer service so far and it’s been HORRIBLE! I went to book online and received an error message while checking out. I attempted the transaction again thinking there was an error on my part- same error message again. I sent an email to the address in the error message with no response and no confirmation of the reservation. It’s been 4 days! The two transactions then showed on my bank account as pending, but I figured they’d fall off due to the error message. I decided to use the text line after 1 day of no email reply. They asked if I had a charge and I explained everything- they stopped responding. Text the next day as BOTH charges have now processed on my account and they tell me they don’t have a party with my guest count. They requested a screenshot which I sent and ONCE AGAIN stopped responding. If this is how customers are treated before stepping foot in the building, I would hate to see what happens upon arrival. At this point I’m better off disputing the charges with my bank.
