I've been seeing Jo pretty regularly for almost two years now and they truly are the best! There's no one like them. I started seeing Jo due to some shoulder issues and while PT helped, I really think massage noticeably helped more. I had never had a professional massage before Jo and they made it a very nice, safe, and comforting experience. I've even sent some friends their way and they've only had good things to say about them as well!

Jo is a wonderful massage therapist. They spend time to discuss areas you'd like to focus on and keep detailed notes. I feel safe on their table and they frequently check in during the massage. My pain has significantly decreased since I began seeing Jo. They value accessible massage therapy and utilize a sliding scale for their sessions. Their space is welcoming and comfortable and I highly recommend scheduling!

Jo is one of the best massage therapists I've ever been to. They take the time to discuss my needs at the beginning of every session and come up with a plan from that. They clearly value consent and bodily autonomy in their practice, which makes me very comfortable working with them. They put a lot of work into making their practice accessible to marginalized populations and have a deep respect for their clients.

Jo is immensely talented, providing consistent physical relief that's indicative of their deep understanding of all layers of the human body and not just how those parts all work, but identifying how each body shows strain, tension, pain, and how best to relieve those symptoms. I've yet to meet anyone who has booked with Jo who wasn't blown away by their skill. They're trauma-informed with a genuine commitment to ensure you feel the safest possible in their hands, in a truly lovely and peaceful setting. There's an additional personal fulfillment in using Jo's services as they use a community-centered, mutual-aide model of business in order to provide care to those often unable to pay for their care. Knowing that when I'm paying for my own massage, I'm not only expressing gratitude to Jo, but also helping someone else experience their incredible skill at a price point that won't disrupt their life? That's a rare pleasure.

Jo is wonderful! They are friendly, welcoming, and an incredible massage therapist. I’ve gone to them for scar massage and they have always checked in to make sure I felt comfortable before and during the massage, and they always remember details about me when I go back. They also offer sliding scale and you can tell truly care about being accessible for all. 10/10 would recommend supporting a queer, trauma-informed massage therapist!

Jo is wonderful!! They create a caring and calm environment and tailor their work to each individual's body. They take a holistic approach to their work and have helped me reduce my regular pain and discomfort while also growing my insight into my own body and why I experience the sensations that I do. As a genderqueer individual, I feel very comfortable and safe in Jo's care. Would definitely recommend!

I had a great experience with Jo! From the start, they were attentive to my specific needs and requests related to massage after a major surgery. They checked in frequently during the massage to make sure the pressure was good and to explain what they were doing in sensitive areas, and made sure their entire process was gender affirming and accessible to all.
