Scrumpy's Hard Cider Bar and Pub, Home of Summit Hard Cider

One of the best bars I've ever been to! I recommend this place to everyone!! The staff is super nice and very knowledgeable! The food was amazing, but the Cider is unbeatable! I can't wait to go back someday! We tried to talk the owner into opening up one here in KC! I wish we would have bought more than a 4 pack to bring home!

Their hours are incorrect on both google and their website. They did not open until 11am on Sunday. Nice variety of ciders, we got two flights to try each of their on tap ciders. Layout of the place is a little confusing because they share the space with the donut shop, it was difficult to find someone working the bar and the donut shop employees kept going to find someone working on the Scrumpys side. Overall good food and drinks that would bring us back again.

First time we went was a Wednesday (trivia night). Although we didn’t do trivia, we still had a really enjoyable time! Bartenders were friendly. Our ciders were so good - I appreciate the various flavors to try in the flight. Personal favorite was the chocolate cherry cider. We got the gluten free spinach artichoke dip and GF chicken tenders. Since we struggle to find places with good GF food, we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was! We will 10000% be back. I was in tonight for the first time. They have a huge selection of ciders and beers as well as cocktails. The food menu looked really good too… The bartender was awesome - helped me find the perfect cider I was looking for (including mixing a couple!!). He definitely made our experience great! Happy hour Monday - Friday 3:00-6:00 too!

We did the eight cider flight. Johnny Wren is probably the most traditional cider. The apple strudel was a bit overpowering with the cinnamon. The peach was wonderful and reminded us of Colorado. The cardinal was actually too cranberry. The blueberry was not good at all as it tipped the scales towards lavender soap. The bourbon barrel was delicious and very drinkable. Dancing with squirrels was very wine light but drinkable. The tart cherry was sweet and if you like cherry, it was very good. The pulled pork was absolutely delicious. The blue and bacon burger was also extremely good. We did have a great time.

Yes, its counter service. Don't go in expecting fancy service- but do go in expecting amazing food and ciders! We had a party of 5, got burgers, sandwiches, and a chowder, plus the spinach artichoke dip... No one was even a little disappointed. Friends had been in earlier in the week, and chanced upon the lunch specials - two ciders, two half sandwiches, two cups of soup, for $25. You cannot beat it! The cider list is extensive, and covers all palates. We had a sampler, plus several full glasses.. and everyone loved all of them. 10/10 recommend.

Really great burger, excellent ciders (8 in a flight and not a single miss, and wonderful live music! Will be returning, as it was a pleasant night out.

We loved our impromptu visit to Scrumpy's for some amazing Cider and wonderful food! The sandwiches were very tasty, and the service was great! They even had drinks and a good menu for my young boys to enjoy a non-alcoholic drink. We will definitely be back!
