SHUG's at Brooklyn South Square

Eclectic place for great crafted drinks! Super nice bartender (PM on 10/18) and a fun environment!! We really enjoyed the old fashion and honey rosemary drink.

This place is a hidden gem. I honestly had a wonderful time soaking in the atmosphere and alcohol of this place. Gingers revenge, Carolinabis, Elderflower cocktail all had a great unique taste. Benny Hagerty preformed live music, and he was beyond amazing. Sadly there was no food since the kitchen closed down. Its great to see local artists paintings on walls as well. Service was quick. Would go out of my way to visit this place once again.

If you visit or live in Salisbury, this is the place to go. It's warm, welcoming, & laid-back. Enjoy lots of outdoor seating in the front AND back, play games, color in the coloring books, drink, meet people, listen to amazing live music or choose your own songs when there's no band. It's just the best. I am especially grateful for the Non-alcoholic options they provide as well as spirits of all kinds.

Shug’s is my favorite place in Salisbury to have a drink, hear live music, and hang out with great people. The bands they bring in are top notch, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and they have some of the best cocktails I’ve ever tried. Highly recommend!!!!

Easily my favorite local hangout. Frequent live music with a great variety of genres, incredible friendly& outgoing staff, easily the most inclusive local spot in town - very welcoming of individuals of all varieties. Great drinks, great music, great atmosphere. Not to mention the constant rotating featured art exhibits. 10/10 spot.

This is my absolute favorite place to go in Salisbury. Great atmosphere, amazing staff, and never any drama. The owner is a wonderful person who gives so much back to our community, we are truly lucky to have such an amazing venue.

I’ve been going to Shugs for years now and it’s criminal that I never did a Google review. I think it’s because of how incredible a spot it is, as soon as you walk in you feel comfortable, and the staff is just so incredibly kind and helpful. They say you can judge folks by the company they keep, and I’d say that holds true hear as well because the kindness of the owner and the staff seem to bring together some of the sweetest, kindest folks I’ve ever met. Even the patrons feel welcoming and you never have to imbibe alone. Heck, you don’t even have to imbibe. I barely drink alcohol and I still frequent Shugs because of their atmosphere (and non-alcoholic options). If you’ve not been, you should definitely stop in and you’ll see what I mean.
