Sipps Bar Gulfport

It was pretty quiet here for a weekday. But the bartender (thanx Josh!) was really attentive and entertaining and even had a good tip for me: The Red Bluff (amazing spot!)

My best friend and I went to their 7 o'clock Drag Bingo on Sunday and had a really fun time. I've been to the bar in the past and had fun every single time. I just wish there was a place like this in every hometown without a gay bar.

On weekends you can enjoy loud pop/dance music, drag shows, and a packed house or during the week you can relax with more mellow music, just a few regulars, and some fun trivia and game nights. The bartenders are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is pleasantly sedated. The kind of gay bar that you could just hang out at for some company and a nice drink and wouldn't even know it was a gay bar until you started noticing the rainbows dotted around. Where is plenty of parking and outdoor seating around back for when the inside gets a little too exciting.

This is the most welcoming bar I have ever gone to! Bartenders Kara, Jacob and Kyle are all some of the most amazing people I have ever met!! Super friendly, funny, and down to earth!! This is my favorite bar on the MS Gulf Coast!!

It's a nice little place, I went with my friend for a bingo event. Neither of us knew there was a fee for folks under 21 for bingo (for a drag show I understand) and there hadn't been someone carding people at the door when we arrived. One of the bartenders asked for my ID then informed me it was 20 dollars, he was just really catty and acted like I didn't pay on purpose. Me and my friend scrounged up 20 dollars and he made a show of counting it in front of us. It just kinda set a hostile tone for the night. It was fun otherwise, hopefully I can go again.

There can be very rude to their customers who are actually the ones that are paying their checks. I came in with my 83-year-old friend in the bartender was absolutely rude to her and says for the third time what the hell do you want to drink is that the way you should talk to your customer? We will not be back to this nasty place unless they get a new manager to run it or a new owner

For the most part a good place, the latrines are rather rough as far as having an area to do your business. That accompanied with an elbow to butthole area to get into the bathroom, could stand to be opened up a little bit. But if that's my only callout then it's not much of a callout, definitely an elbow to butthole kind of place so if you don't like shuffling through people then you might not like it, but I did.

Great atmosphere and Mondays are $2 of every drink all day. Karaoke Fridays at 9pm. It's my new favorite place!
