Sundown Lounge

We have been frequent guests at the Sundown Lounge for many years. The fun atmosphere, cocktails, and hosts are all top notch! It is such a unique place to visit. We never miss a chance to stop in to say hello and enjoy the best cocktails around. Mitch, Ivory, and Morgan have done an amazing job at making everyone feel welcome. From the amazing cocktails to the warm and inviting space they have created this has become one of our favorite places to visit. If you are in the Bridgton area put Sundown on the top of your list... you won't be disappointed!

Perhaps one of the most unique bars in Maine! Mitch, Ivory and Morgan have done an astounding job of blending Casual with Sophistication! Best cocktails anywhere! My wife loves those Bourbon Cocktails! They always have a beer I love! Open late too which is unusual in this part of Maine!

What a great place to go, incredible atmosphere, drinks, music, company and all around a good time. Mitch, Morgan and Ivory are so personable and kind. They make the best drinks and are even sweet enough to customize a drink based off your needs. Highly recommended!!

One of my favorite bars of all time!!! Sundown lounge has such a great energy and a constantly changing cocktail mix. Mitch and Morgan are true artists of the craft and never fail to put a smile on my face with their drinks and company.

For a place that claims everyone is welcome. That is not the case here. We went out last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday with 12 people. It was a little cold so we grabbed a few extra sweatshirts to keep warm. One had a political saying. But no vulgar words. They made us leave. Meanwhile there is no signs in the restaurant we were not doing anything but ordering a drink. It’s Halloween and people had costumes on as well. So why this would be an issue is beyond me. Truly sad that if we have something that they don’t agree with we have to leave. We were not talking politics. How is that everyone is welcome??? We don’t all have to agree with everyone but I thought we all should be able to respect one another.

This bar is amazing! It's the kind of welcoming, inclusive place I like to visit. It retains the charm of a small town establishment while being edgy and artsy. In addition to mingling with the most welcoming staff and enjoying live music, cocktails, and darts, I always have a great time and feel very at home here!

I really didn’t want to write a bad review but after my experience I feel like it is justified. I work in the restaurant business and we welcome everyone. I am proud to serve and meet all types of people regardless of their views on politics, life choices and religion. Unfortunately my friend was automatically judged for what he was wearing and was asked to take his sweatshirt off. You stated talking about politics in a bar creates problems but not serving a patron because of what he is wearing and being asked to remove his shirt doesn’t? I would recommend putting a sign up stating this policy of you bar to avoid people feeling humiliated and being discriminated against.

Sundown is like Cheers, where everybody knows your name. Awesome, unique drinks, great people and Mitch, Ivory and Morgan are great friends and mixologists! Really fun Halloween party and I look forward to New Years Eve. If you have not tried Sundown, you are missing out.
