Taphouse 150

Came across this little gem on a random strike for a drink and decent food after work as I am new to Cromwell. The atmosphere was phenomenal for 5:30 p.m. I really love the seating and the stained glass makes a nice touch and keeps it true to being a "tavern" as opposed to just a restaurant. This place is not family friendly and isn't intended to be. For golf fans there is a nice range connected to the property with its own bar newly added to the back of the restaurant to purely serve the patrons on the range. Sweet touch! I don't want to say too many bad things about this place because it really was a wonderful quick visit and the energy in the room was an easy adjustment. I came around dinner time on a Wednesday and at about 6:30 they started to pull down a projector screen for trivia night. I didn't stay long enough for that but might have enjoyed it if I knew the genre and something peaked my interest. So now to the negative... As the food was in fact delicious the timing was to be noted. I ordered all of my food to go had a few drinks while I was waiting... First I received my sandwich and chips 20 minutes later The party I came with received part of their to go order, and the rest of my order took another 25 minutes. I think somehow there was a mishap in the kitchen. I ordered my food with my very first drink and it took over an hour I ordered the goat cheese honey pizza with added prosciutto and the Florida man sandwich. The chips with the sandwich weren't to my liking but the pizza and the sandwich itself were delicious! All in all this place gets a 4.5. Allan is a nice touch too

Great venu went here for a wedding reception. Great band pizza was awesome. The food was tremendous, and the staff was very attentive and kind. Great experience. Desserts crazy good.

Came across this place and enjoyed it very much. It is located next to/on a golf course. Has a large parking lot and the place looked packed but it wasn’t. Seems the cars were there because of the golf course. Place has a good selection of food and even some VEGAN/Vegetarian options. Also, they have great beer/cider/booze selection as well. Good food and very creative menu. Only complaint that I had was some of the items served were warm... not hot. But other than that...The food was YUMMY. There is an outdoor seating option as well as many flat screen TV’s. Place has a good ambiance and a trendy vibe too. Our waitress, Olivia, was def a highlight of our evening. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and just all around pleasant. NOTE TO THE OWNER- you need more people like this in your business. She is a keeper. Also, give her a raise or bonus... she works hard and deserves it. Bottom line- spend your money here. Great place!

It's a great bar. It always has a crowd the food is good and the drinks are better. They have a rotation of cute mixed drinks that are always right up my alley. If you are a beer person don't worry they have something for you too! They had a special beer for October and it was one of best beers I've ever had.

We visited this place as it was on our shortlist for a post wedding brunch venue. We met with the owner Victor (very friendly) who showed us around the establishment. Then we got down to the food. The pizzas and sliders were mind-blowing. And the vast selection of local beers really adds a nice touch. This is the kind of spot you could spend all of Sunday afternoon watching football games.

I normally don’t write reviews, but the last visit I had to Taphouse will be my final. Short staffing was the least of my concerns since my friend and I had the time, but the lack of attentiveness to new customers, disregard for customer service, and on top of that the 3 dip trio came out with stale chips, and non-edible dips, while the chicken cutlet sandwich was more like a burnt chicken tender with the final scrapings of what resembled French fries on the plate, was enough for me to never come back and discourage others to as well. On the only positive side, they had my favorite flavor of high noon, which was good on that hot day.

I went here on a Saturday night with my boyfriend and another couple. We got there a little bit early so we had to wait for the other couple to come, & the waitresses were very patient with us and understanding! Loved their beer selection, especially fruity ones for the sunmer & the citrus sangria was delicious! Plus, their frankenstein burger, highly recommend. It was a fun, tasty burger!

Food was ok. Didnt have the pizza, though I've heard, its very good. Heard the band, theres dancing too, which is great. Tall seats in band area rather uncomfortable, and they need more seating for us older folks as the tall seats don't cut it. Friendly and accommodating staff.
