The Dog Bar

What an amazing idea, a place where we can have a drink, while dogs run around in a safe environment? Despite having to leave our dogs at home in California while visiting the Tampa area for a Bucs game, we missed our puppies and thought it would be cool to check this place out. So glad we came by. Everyone was friendly, the vibe was chill, the dogs seemed to be having an amazing time. Really large area outside for the puos to run around, then a smaller separate area for thise who might need less action-great for older dogs, or maybe smaller, or anxious pups. They have a dedicated person to spray with a hose after poo poo is picked up, so it is VERY clean. I really hope somebody from the SF Bay Area takes notice and opens up a sister bar. Will be your best customer.

Best place ever. I literally moved from New Jersey when I found out the atmosphere this place has. I have met so many friends and I have been a member for more than 5 years. Is like a small community where everyone knows your name. They always have the best food trucks and drinks are amazing with a lot of drafts beers. Plus the bartenders are awesome. I rather come here and drink than to go downtown.

Had just the best time at Dog Bar tonight! Incredible food truck out front (Go Stuff Urself), free bingo, affordable drinks, fans to keep you cool. What's not to love?!

Our puppies Loki and Daisy absolutely love this place. They get to socialize with other dogs in a safe environment. And they have pools of ice that the dogs love to lay in. Great place. Love it!

LOVE this place!! Such a fun concept. Enjoy going during the day/early evening. Noticed at night people get more buzzed and pay less attention to their dogs. Our pups really enjoyed the ice baths. They had a blast meeting and playing with so many other dogs. We loved the drinks, the people, and the food truck - so fun!

I love this place!!! The staff are always friendly, especially our favorites Taylor and Corey!! The owner is usually there and the nicest person. All of the wooferees are very attentive and helpful. They have pretty much any drink you'd want to order, including my favorite Markerade! Tons of beers on tap and a full bar. There's always a good food truck out front and good people to hang with!!

This will be one of my more heartfelt reviews. This year, I had to say farewell to my beloved dog of nearly 17 years. On a trip to St. Petersburg recently, we made the choice to go to the dog bar and simply hang out with a bunch of other locals and their pups. It was both cathartic and compersive (that is, taking joy in others joy) to see other dog owners with their various breeds of dogs. Other people were so understanding and so welcoming at the bar.

Had an amazingggg experience at the dog bar for my dogs gotcha day! We loved the side area that we rented out (I hadn't been before so had no idea what it would be like!!). All of the staff was fantastic and so helpful and kind. Literally best party ever! Thank you dog bar!
