The Social Speakeasy

I cannot say enough about this place! I drove almost 2 hours to come visit a friend in the area for the weekend, and we came to brunch here before my drive back. Let me tell you… I would drive the 2 hours just to meet her for brunch! The drinks are unique and absolutely delicious. The bartenders are truly masters in their craft. The husband/wife chef duo are truly inspirational. Their dishes are innovative and the flavors are out of this world! I had the Crab Cake Benny, and it was the best I’ve ever had. The hollandaise sauce was to die for and their crab cakes cannot be topped! This is a place you have to visit for a fabulous atmosphere with perfectly crafted drinks and Michelin Star worthy food!

The atmosphere is incredible. The drink list is also incredible. Expensive, but that’s expected considering the type of drinks they serve. They can make more than what’s on the menu and the servers are great at listening to what you like and making suggestions. Was disappointed in the food selection and the portion sizes, and the fact that it seemed forever for them to bring me a dirty martini. My group had all received and nearly finished their drinks by the time I got mine. I felt really left out. Music was fantastic and really set the mood.

Atmosphere 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Food 5/10 (rough score but pretty honest. Basically bar food. Come for drinks) Service 6/10 (it got super busy on a Saturday night at 7:30pm and they only had one server.) Live music 10/10 Definitely will be back.

Found this spot on a whim & so glad to experience this little gem in Montgomery. Very chill, laid back environment. The cadillac margarita is very smooth. The steam skewers along with the prosciutto, goat cheese & fig were delicious. Definitely will be back.

Spectacular ambience and service. Craft cocktails made with details and attention, which isn’t found here in Montgomery! I definitely recommend the Social to visit for a date night, night cap, or group event. The dress code elevates the vibe unlike any other place in the area also- so make sure you’re looking good! I would definitely recommend the black magic (espresso martini) and the watermelon basil martini. The food is delicious as well! Update: Went for brunch today and it was amazing! Food is tasty and fresh, and the cocktails are detailed and refreshing! I added photos of what I enjoyed.

We went on a Friday evening, which featured a live jazz performance. Really creative take on drinks. We did not order food, but the nearby tables had some beautiful dishes. I wish the patio had a better setup when going from the on theme inner ambiance vs. the real world outside. The feeling was palpable as soon as we stepped out. Very nice overall. We definitely will go back.

Super cool hidden treasure in Montgomery. Drinks actually have an alcohol content and the food was delish! Great live music with a cool vibe.

My husband and I finally made it in and we loved it. Cool vibe with great food. We had the BBQ flatbread and meatball appetizer. Wow. Those are meatballs and Italian grandma made!! Megs was our waitress and took great care of us. Super pretty cocktails with smoke bubbles. Trust me. Very cool. We will be back!!
