I am a massage therapist myself, and was referred to this practice by a colleague. Kai's approach was incredibly effective, and well within my tolerance level. I will absolutely be booking again with him to resolve other challenges with my own body, and will likely be looking to attend a workshop taught by him.

Can you give six stars? I originally sought Kai's help with shoulder pain brought on by an athletic injury that had lasted for two years and would not subside with any other treatment. Within two sessions I saw a rapid diminishment in discomfort coupled with an increase in my range of motion. Within a month the pain was gone, and we began working on issues related to age and profession. As a 50+ year old man I find that Kai's work enables me to move through my week with greater ease, comfort, and range of motion. I find that Kai takes the time to listen and think about what is challenging my body as it moves through this world. Kai is a calm and thoughtful professional, and I sent my college age daughter to him after an injury from rock climbing. She found his treatment protocols to help her bounce back quicker than she had after previous incidents. His office has great parking, is easily accessible from many parts of Houston, and is a very calm place in the bustle of a major city.

Oh my goodness, I cannot tell you how much better I felt after seeing Kai on more than one occasion when my body was in pain. Kai provided immense relief and comfort each time. His expertise and caring nature truly made a difference. I highly recommend Kai to anyone in need of a skilled and compassionate massage therapist!

Wonderful experience. Kai is very skilled in many different techniques to release muscle tension, create more mobility, and heal the body. He is able to tune into what the body is needing to create better alignment and reduce pain. Thanks!

I've had three sessions with Kai to complement an at-home regimen intended to help muscular imbalance and chronic pain in my shoulder. I have been to every kind of doctor, physical therapist, trigger point masseuse, chiropractor, etc. with mixed results. So far, my experience with Kai has been great. He is thoughtful and methodical in his approach. He does not do feel-good massage; it feels productive and helpful. He uses a multi-facted, multiple modality approach to massage that I've never experienced and is communicative and receptive through the whole process. I have always felt very comfortable during the massage despite the discomfort that comes with massaging and working stressed out, overworked, etc. parts of the body. Kai listens to what's working and adjusts the experience based on client feedback. He's trying things that are outside the box, and when you've got chronic pain, that may just been the kind of thing that will help. I have felt an overall improvement in my pain levels and experience of pain since starting sessions with Kai. I've also made a lot of day-to-day changes that are probably helping as well, but from everything I've read, massage from a highly qualified and knowledgeable professional can be the best support for at-home therapeutic practices. That's what I feel like I'm getting. If anything, I can breathe easier, and that's probably one of the roots of my problem. Thanks, Kai! UPDATE: I've now been going to Kai regularly (about every two weeks) since March of this year. As we've worked on different areas, especially joint stability, I've seen huge progress in shoulder/shoulder blade pain, as well as hip and tailbone pain. Kai is methodical in his approach and explains how one area of the body (where I'm feeling pain) is affected by tightness or weakness in other areas. In our sessions, he always checks in on how I'm doing and asks for feedback on what seemed to work best to target the area I wanted to work on. I love how he changes things up depending on my response. For athletes, especially people who were really athletic when they were young, or for those who have high levels of flexibility and range of motion (dancers, gymnasts, people on the hypermobility spectrum), Kai could be a huge help. Along with strength training, yoga, regular walking, upping my water intake, and taking magnesium, Kai has been a huge part of my progress toward feeling less pain. I appreciate his straight forward approach and support. He is incredible at what he does.

Kai is the best massage therapist I have ever been to! He is so knowledgeable about the human body and talented at caring for your needs. Between working out and being hunched over at work everyday, Kai has been able to relieve my back tightness and pain. Would highly recommend to athletes or people who exercise regularly.

Kai's massage amazing. Very therapeutic target driven and intentional. We focused on upper body for my over compensating shoulder pain when doing over head press, he was patient and gentle. He's very knowledgeable & guided me through every moment very well while explaining the purpose of each. Highly recommend for your sports massage and recovery massage needs here in Houston!

Kai has been a very dedicated and talented massage therapist for years and is consistently improving his craft. My girlfriend suffers from chronic upper back and neck pain as well as tight calves from working on her feet for 12+ hours a day, and after even the first session with Kai in which he implemented multiple modalities, the difference in her level of pain and tightness was night and day. She won’t go to any other therapist from now on. Kai also offers couple massage lessons, so I can learn how to give her massages at home. Thanks again, Kai!
