This is the best little local venue that Charleston has to offer! Tiny but mighty! Wonderful eclectic decor that brings back nostalgia for underground punk venues in the early 80s! VERY decent pricing for ticket pricing and also for drink pricing. And get this: FREE WATER! Now that may seem absurd to mention but trust me, it matters! I've been to outdoor venues in 100+ degree heat that still charged $6 for a tiny bottle of water! I just love that they have free self serve COLD water in here! There's a few seats to be had but mostly standing room only. Being tiny, it can get really packed really fast - but it's okay, that's part of its charm! I'd happily pick seeing someone here over bigger "fancier" venues anyday! For food - I can't really say because I've only ever tried their French fries - but it always looks and smells good anyways!

I absolutely love this little dive bar!! The bartenders are super friendly. Crystyl is one of the best bartenders i know. Every time I come in here I find something different that I didn’t see the last time. Very cute place, awesome karaoke on Sunday nights with the amazing DJ Wild Bill. They also have 2 different pop up kitchens throughout the week that are both spectacular! Live music is always great here and some days they have comedy that is hilarious!

Local watering hole with nightly entertainment - Sunday was karaoke with varying degrees of talent, but a cool, comfortable spot where people are friendly and the bartender does her job well. I've seen different events here from nationally touring alternative bands to fairly professional comedy.

If you love dive bars, then this is a must. The drinks are fairly priced, and the atmosphere is fun. The only negative is that I wish the food menu was bigger.

Amazing punk rock bar with a huge selection of beers, including drafts. Live music almost nightly with great sound!! Great and helpful staff! This is a very comfortable place to hang out.

Awesome little dive bar! Live local music, decently strong drinks, and cheap PBR. Had a great time!

Since I'm 18 as of writing this and not legally aloud to drink, this is a great place to come for live music and even play live music if you want. That's me on the right of the first picture. Just come down and have a good time.

The Tin Roof is Awesome! Great sound, killer bands (Rocket 77 and Anergy played the night I was there), great bartender, and killer food from their kitchen!! There is nothing I would change about this place... It is the Perfect Dive Bar.
